This page explains how the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to Efforti. Our Privacy Policy has the full detail. This is the short version for customers and for people in the EU and UK.
Our role
- For data inside a customer's Efforti workspace (check-ins, chat content, scores and WhatsApp details), the customer is the controller and RemoteDesk Private Limited is the processor. We process that data only on the customer's instructions, to run Efforti.
- For people who sign up, contact us, ask for a demo or visit efforti.ai, RemoteDesk Private Limited is the controller.
Legal bases we rely on as controller
- Contract: to provide the accounts and services our customers sign up for.
- Legitimate interests: to answer demo requests, keep the service secure and prevent misuse.
- Consent: for Google Analytics cookies on our website. You can withdraw it at any time through Cookie settings at the bottom of any page.
- Legal obligation: to keep the records the law requires.
AI and human review
Efforti uses AI to draft summaries and scores. Every score stays a draft until a person at the customer's company reviews and approves it, so Efforti does not make decisions about people by automated means alone.
Sub-processors and international transfers
Our current sub-processors are listed in our Privacy Policy. We are based in India, and some of our providers process data in the United States. For personal data covered by the GDPR, we use the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, and the UK Addendum where it applies, as the safeguard for these transfers.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your personal data, and for it to be corrected, deleted, restricted or given to you in a portable format. You can also object to some uses and withdraw consent you have given. If you use Efforti through your employer, contact your employer first, or write to privacy@efforti.ai and we will help them respond. We will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
